Tyler Emory Tucker has eight years of experience advising local, state, and federal executives on developing and implementing policies and programs. Throughout his career, he has managed diverse portfolios across federal agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations, focusing on stakeholder relations, operations, staff development, and project management.
Most recently, Tucker served as senior staff to the United States Secretary of Agriculture on the North American Agricultural Advisory Network and acted as a special advisor to the United States Under Secretary of Agriculture and Chief Scientist. In this capacity, he provided strategic insights into rural advisory services for Canada and Mexico, facilitated a special visit by the President of the United States to Georgia following Hurricane Helene in 2024, oversaw an office that managed four federal agencies—including two federal statistical agencies—and frequently accompanied senior officials from the United States Department of Agriculture on official travels.
Tucker has participated in executive leadership development training at the White House, collaborating with distinguished experts such as Simon Sinek, author Brené Brown, and Harvard professor Rob Wilkinson. For his contributions to the field, he has been recognized with awards from the United States Department of Agriculture, Civic Nation, and the University of Georgia. Tucker is an active member of the Trustees Council of the National Archives Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Vanguard Society, the Georgia State Society of Washington, and the White House Historical Association.
As a former two-term AmeriCorps national service member, Tucker is dedicated to developing leaders and establishing partnerships that address the world’s most pressing challenges, including global food security and community empowerment. He has mentored 79 young leaders from 12 countries and currently serves on the National Youth250 Advisory Bureau, advocating for the inclusion of youth perspectives in the United States’ 250th anniversary celebration.
